February is coming to a close.
On the 14th I found out Shawn Montgomery (the person who had a lot to do with the whole situation when my eldest child got pregnant & moved out) was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML), almost everyone is bending over backwards to go spend time with him & trying to raise money for him, this may sound wrong but I don't feel sorry for him, I have a feeling that this is the universe's way of dealing him his karma for his hand in the situation with my eldest. So I am keeping the midget extra long on almost every Friday, because the midget's parents want to go visit with him, they stay way to long ion these night cause I end up dealing with a very crabby midget, by the end of the night.
The last week has been long & frustrating. I'm finally getting hubby's car fixed (water pump & oil change) also changing some burnt out lights, but it has taken a lot longer than expected. First I got the wrong parts & had to exchange them for the correct ones, had to get an exhaust manifold, cause when the other one was taken off the car a bolt broke off in the whole & the other whole threads were stripped, this repair job it costing me more money & frustrating time than I want it to, I want my freedom back & I will be oh so happy when it is done.
I was also diagnosed with acid reflux on the 22nd. I have to get allergy testing done on my spring break.
We had a snow day (24th) this week, which means a day without pay. I will be happy when spring is actually here, so I don't have to worry about snow days.
The only bright side is that the midget is talking more (finally saying his name & I love you, which everyone has been working with him so he can say these 2 things) and doing a lot better on potty training.
I am very slowly working on cleaning & organizing the house. I am sorting and getting rid of stuff to donate so it is out of my house. The plan for my spring break is to spend as much time as I can in the basement cleaning, trashing, recycling & donating as much as possible.
I will try to check back in next month to let you know how spring break went.
That's all for now
M
