Christmas 2021

 It’s Christmas Eve & It’s just another day to me, it doesn’t feel special at all, Covid has ruined a lot of things. Normally I can get in the holiday spirit but not the last couple of years. I didn’t even put up the tree this year.

Easter 2021

 It's the second Easter of the COVID Pandemic, Vaccines are in mass admission, Hubby got his on Thursday he got Pfizer,  Cody & I got ours on Good Friday we got J&J. Hubby gets his second shot the Thursday before Barb's Wedding, hopefully he doesn't get the same reaction that Cody & I got. I can't wait to be able to have life go back to as normal as it possible can.

1 year later with Covid-19

 It's 1 year later, Covid is still a big issue, Vaccines have been created & are in the process of being administered, but it's moving very slow. Life is not moving in any direction, we are still stuck at home all of the time. Some events are still being cancelled, some events are virtual.

Everyone I know is sick of wearing a mask, and we will probably have to wear masks until 2022 as a guess. When we don't have to wear masks anymore I am going to burn 99% of my masks.

This pandemic has reeked havoc on my world/life. I honestly don't know if I ever had Covid or not, the 3 of us got sick the end of February after a week the husband went to urgent care and was diagnosed with pnuemonia, he got drugs, the end of March he went the e.r. cause he still wasn't feeling better, he got more meds and finally started to feel better, I myself never went to the dr, I still have a cough that is hanging around, I think some of it is allergies.

All I know is I will be happy when the focus isn't on Covid & the Covid vaccine, when life can go back to somewhat of a normal life without masks.

New Year’s Day 2021

We are still under a lockdown somewhat, STL County Restaurants get to open dining rooms again on 1/4/21.

A vaccine is in distribution, we haven’t received ours yet.

Today we had sleet, rain & snow.

We are slowly working on cleaning up the house, we have made good progress during December 2020.

I will be very happy when we don’t have to wear masks anymore, there will definitely be a ceremonial burning of masks when we are allowed to go mask-less.
